Crown rot is a fungus that affects the roots and crown of the tree. If your coconut has crown rot the whole tree must be removed and composted imeadately.
If a tree is pruned correctly it will stay healthy and be less susceptable to crown rot. If the tree is over pruned it will become weak and more susceptable to all diseases.
We prune every tree with the intent of keeping it as healthy as possible.
